Four.Five.Six.Seven

9:35pm. Today is one of the earlier nights that I'm back at home. Almost the whole school is having term tests this week.

Today we didn't keep to our plan to celebrate 5-6-7 by lunching at some fancy place...forgot that ToP Table is closed for study week. It'll probably resume business only after term break. A recent-x-colleague was back for an interview at another dept so I decided to give him the 'Wheel of Wisdom' for 'Where To Find True Love?', as planned. It's something funny, something that, of all people, he would definitely appreciate the humour of it.

Near to lunchtime, went to check out the steel cabinets at the Band room. Out of the 6, only 2 are lockable with available keys. The rest are either without keys (can't lock...and one can't even open), or has faulty lock.

After that is done, I began clarineting for about an hour. Kenneth so sweet lah. Cos when I started practising "Blue Ridge Saga", he came over without saying a word, and played the piece on his laptop to help me in my practice. 不愧是我的张老师! After practice, had lunch with 'cher at Mensa 2 (no crowd at all), and it was back to work again.

Ok, my colleagues and I managed to create our own 'happy hour' at 4pm. Hence celebrating 4-5-6-7. Haha...so cheap thrill lah. I even sent the first 3 lines of Namie's "Can You Celebrate (Japanese pronounced as Celeblate)" to Kenneth...well, I'm not bored...you started it...playing the band version on your laptop. Reminded me of the song I heard so long ago when I was in the 哈日stage of my life. Anyway, the 3 lines kept ringing in my head the whole day today. Yesterday was "Blue Ridge Saga", cos I've been clarineting it for the past week. Well, I think I'd rather reminisce over BRS than CYC lah.

One conclusion...correct tonguing is the cause of all trickling down of one's 'inner water' (a.k.a. saliva lah). I once thought of it as just water vapour...you know, from all the blowing. Now I cannot deny it anymore...it is really saliva!!! Somebody, help me! Faint...

Had a short little meeting with Melissa, Wanda and Kelvin about Choir camp around 5pm. Pack up around 6pm and went over TAC to meet up with Angila, the new Choir Instructor. Talked about collecting refundable $10 deposit from all members to let them be more responsible for scores distributed. Make sure they attend practices with water bottle and stationeries to take notes during practices. Not going to reprint for those who lost their scores. They need to settle their own recopying. She quite enthu...I'm impressed with her for now.

Then it's off to the band room again to meet Jing Ting & Kenneth for dinner. Hilyah and Nicholas were there too. Went dinner together at TM food court. Cos Fish & Co not appropriate...plus no fresh oysters again, for the 3rd time! I think just not the season...not because I want to eat then they disappear or something...what kind of logic is that?? Huh??? Haha... I think more like they were digged out prematurely for Oyster Omelette. Just had it on Sunday with Kenneth at Esplanade leh. Everywhere also selling what. So how can don't have oysters?

After that went home the usual way...two.five.zero-ing Kenneth and Nicholas.
