God Of Compassion

My dearest Abba, I thank You that You are a God of compassion. I worship You for You are exceedingly great. Nothing can escape Your knowledge for You are Omniscient. I praise You for what You are doing in my life, even at this moment, as I cry out to You in perplexity, I know You have heard me and will reveal to me Your truth in Your perfect time.

Help me to trust You, and be courageous to love those You've placed in my heart. Pour out Your grace upon me, I pray. May I be found faithful to "agape" my brethren.

2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the hearts. 3 To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. 4 A haughty look, a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked are sin.

Friendship Inc.

Quite a lot has been running through my head for the past few days, in particularly, the issue of friendship - what it meant to me in the past and what it means to me now. People around me have asked me, "Cynthia, do you have a best friend?" or simply, "Who are you close(r) to?" I don't know what the kind of answers they are expecting out of me and why they would want to know, but everytime such a question is asked, I can't immediately give an answer. It probably sounds kind of strange. I mean, if it's my close or best friend, wouldn't the answer be really straightforward and requires little thought to it? But yet I find that I'm unable to respond. All around me, I find that people are often seeking to be someone's special someone. It doesn't necessarily mean boyfriend-girlfriend kind of relationship.
